Rental terms in plain English
These terms cover the rental period, weight, fees, placement and billing. They apply to every Reid Bros rental. Payment, deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed on the phone when you book.
| Rental period and extra days | Every rental includes 7 days. Each day after that is $25. Call before your pickup date to extend. Example: A 20-yard kept 10 days: 3 extra days × $25 = $75. |

| Included weight | 10-yard 2 tons; 15-yard 2.5 tons; 20-yard 3 tons; 30-yard 4 tons; 40-yard 5 tons. |
| Weight overage | Weight over the included tons is $75 per ton, pro-rated by the exact pound from the official landfill scale ticket. We do not round up. Example: A 15-yard with 2.9 tons net: 0.4 tons over × $75 = $30. |
| Proof of weight | A digital copy of the certified landfill scale ticket is attached to your final invoice. |
| Final billing timeline | Final invoices, including any overage or extra days, are emailed 3 to 5 business days after pickup, once the landfill processes our disposal logs. |
| Prohibited items | Hazardous chemicals, wet paint and batteries are strictly prohibited. |
| Extra-fee items | Appliances containing Freon (fridges, freezers, AC units), mattresses and automotive tires are $50 extra per item due to special processing rules at the landfill. Example: Two tires and a fridge: 3 × $50 = $150. |
| Heavy debris | Concrete, dirt, brick and sand are allowed only in 10 and 15-yard dumpsters, loaded no higher than halfway up the walls. Clean, unmixed loads qualify for clean-fill pricing. |
| Overfill | Debris must stay level with the top rim. Texas law doesn't allow overloaded bins on the road. If a dumpster is overfilled, a $125 dry-run fee applies and the customer must remove the excess before transport. |
| Placement and access | If the driver can't drop or pick up because of parked cars, low-hanging wires or locked gates, a $125 dry-run fee applies. You don't need to be present if the drop zone is clear. |
| Property protection | Drivers place structural wooden boards under the dumpster's rollers and rails to prevent cracking or scratching on concrete and asphalt driveways. |
| Delivery | Standard deliveries run 7 AM to 5 PM. Book by 3 PM for guaranteed next-day delivery. Same-day requests carry a $50 rush fee and depend on truck availability. Drivers text or call 20 to 30 minutes before arrival. |
| Swaps | Pulling a full dumpster and dropping an empty one counts as a new standard rental. |
| Permits | If a dumpster will sit in a street or public right-of-way, check your city's rules before delivery. Call us and we'll talk through placement. |
| Questions about a charge | Call with your invoice. We'll go through the scale ticket and each line with you. |
